About Drake State
Drake State Community and Technical College is a public, historically black community and technical college in Huntsville, Alabama. The college was founded as Huntsville Vocational Technical College in 1961.Â
In 2021, Drake State was announced as one of six institutions to receive NASA’s Inclusion Across the Nation of Communities of Learners of Underrepresented Discoverers in Engineering and Science Award.
